- Initial Prep: Initial prep work can range from spark plug replacement to spraying the undercarriage of your car with weatherproofing. In New England, the weather can get fierce, and in the coldest of conditions, a weathered battery can become a problem. Two other important pieces to a winter-proof car are your tire maintenance/replacement and staying up to date on your vehicle’s liquids.
- Small Animals: If your car sounds harsh or irregular all of a sudden, this is a normal sign of a filter being clogged. Our team is great at cleaning your car filters and creating good airflow. Also! Speaking of clogged, check to make sure your wheel wells are free of any cats trying to find warmth from the cold!
- Heat: Have you ever gotten into a friend’s car and the first thing they bring up is their heat being broken? Don’t be that friend, on that train of thought regulating your engine temperature is important. Making sure to change fluids to their winter equivalent in the near future will save you from an explanation to your boss!
